Appointments

Surgeries are operated by an appointment system for the Doctors and Practice Nurse, appointments are for 10 minutes per patient and can be made in person, by telephone or online via the link below (you will need to register for this at reception desk)

If you are unable to attend for your appointment please cancel as soon as possible to allow another patient to avail of it. Telephone 02866325638.

online healthcareAll appointments are computerised so you will need to use our new check in system in our waiting or report to reception on arrival to ensure you are not kept waiting.

We can understand your frustration when Doctors or Nurses run late; it is sometimes difficult for medical staff to provide not only the best possible care but also to work strictly to time. We always put your individual medical care above the smooth running of our timetable.

The practice can guarantee a same/next day appointment for all urgent problems, although this may not be with the doctor of your choice, you have the right to see a particular Doctor but may have to wait longer, appointments are not normally booked more than a week in advance.

The Doctors will see emergency patients at 11.30 for a quick appt. You must ring at 8:30am in the morning as some appointments become available on the day. (this is only for patients who cannot wait until the next day to see a Doctor. There are no longer 4.30pm appointments. We now have a Triage system. This means that we send the information to the doctors and the doctors will decide if you need to be seen or if you need a script.

Remember:

  • It is better to attend one doctor with the same problem.
  • One appointment per person please, as extras will cause the surgery to run late.
  • If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know in good time so that the slot may be offered to someone else.
